Rasandik Engineering Industries India Limited was incorporated on 10-01-1984 as a Private Limited company and promoted by Rajiv Kapoor, a first generation technical entrepreneur from IIT Delhi and commenced production in 1986. He envisaged this project to supply Fuel Tanks as the auto industry was opening up and became a major supplier of fuel tanks to Maruti, DCM Toyota, Eicher Mitsubishi and SML to begin with. In 1991 the company introduced new technology in Stamping and brought in the concept of Quick Die Change system, a first in India auto ancillary for manufacturing stamping parts/ BIW parts. Later in 1999 the company introduced the concept of Robotic Spot welding, again a first at that point of time. In 2001, the company went into manufacturing of Large size Press Tools of skin panels and introduced the concept of design to build. In 2006 the company introduced Laser welding technology, again a first and started manufacturing Tailor Welded Blanks in India catering to Maruti, Tata etc.
Rasandik has three global-scale manufacturing units, strategically located at three different locations across the country with the best-in-class equipment and innovative technologies.

In response to the increasing market for electric vehicles in the L5 category, Rasandik proudly presents SAMRAT Electric Three-Wheeler vehicles. Designed to cater to a wide range of needs, the SAMRAT portfolio encompasses various variants, tailored for passenger transportation, load carrying, and garbage collection services. Through this diverse and innovative product range, the Company showcases its dedication to excellence and continuous advancements in the field of electric mobility. It was the first to introduce a 7-seater vehicle and is expanding its dealer network and production capacity. Its products include Passenger 7-Seater and 4-Seater, and commercial Garbage Tipper and Loaders. The focus of the company is to build its own brand and enhance the presence in 3 wheeler Auto segment, which is Rasandik’s strategic focus in the years ahead. The Company has commenced sales and marketing in Jammu & Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
