All great things begin as an idea in the mind of man. It is from that idea, that seed, that reality is fashioned. And so it has been with Rasandik; the idea was realised in 1986 with the establishment of our company as a manufacturer of Fuel Tanks and Sheet Metal Components.

The seed took root as we advanced our technical know - how. Ever since, our business growth has been steady and directed on our philosophy of ‘Quality, Cost and Service’.

Rasandik was quick to realise that suppliers will need to shift their perception from using low technology to state-of-the-art. The use of high level of automation in Press Shop and Robotics in welding would result in product quality consistency of enhancement of productivity levels.

To realize this goal, the company has invested heavily in advanced equipment and technology including CATIA, Unigraphics & Hyperform software being used in designing and development of Components, Tools and Dies, Welding and Checking Fixtures.

The CAM section of the software assists in manufacture of Tools & Dies at a rapid pace. Upholding our tradition of being a pioneer every time & all the time, Rasandik offers Tailored Welding Blank Systems both at its Sohna and Pune plants.

TWB’s is a technology that is futuristic & helps OEM’s manufacture light weight and cost effective vehicles. We provide a single point responsibility from product design to product delivery. Rasandik is rapidly moving up the value addition chain and becoming an integrated component manufacturer.

Our Vision ... to Build Capabilities for design to manufacture of components and aggregates for Automotive Sector, Aerospace Industry and Three Wheeler products.

Our Mission for 2008 -10... to build capabilities for Aluminum & Titanium metalworking for Aerospace sector, to set up TWB application centre, feasibility study to build capabilities for GI & SGI castings. To achieve this, my message to the Rasandik team is to continue providing quality as a way of life and inculcate an attitude of ‘Do it right the first time and every time’.
